Am I my brother’s keeper?

Genesis 4:9

New International Version (NIV)

9 Then the Lord said to Cain, “Where is your brother Abel?” “I don’t know,” he replied. “Am I my brother’s keeper?” Cain was confronted by God on where his brother, Abel was and the former gave a rather rude (if you ask me) reply. Remember, this is GOD we are talking about, and the guy has the audacity to answer back like that…hehe. Well I will focus on God’s question to him – Where is your brother Abel? We know the story of what happened before and after the above conversation (or question). So let me draw you away from the murder incident and focus on the question. Many at times as belivers we choose to have lives that
